Bolzano

Discover the old town

Bolzano is the capital city of South Tyrol. It lies in a hollow and is surrounded on three sides by high mountains.
These mountains offer countless hiking opportunities. Why not explore Rosengarten or Renon? The Renon funicular offers a wonderful view as it takes you to the top of the mountain.
Besides a variety of cultural attractions, the famous shopping arcades in the old town of Bolzano should not be missed – they are an attraction in their own right.
In winter, Bolzano holds an extensive Christmas market, with delicious food on offer and a wide range of souvenirs to buy.

MONTE BONDONE – ALWAYS IN VIEW

Trento, the capital of Trentino

Trento is one of the two autonomous provinces that form the Trentino–South Tyrol region. It is situated 55 kilometres to the south of Bolzano.

The local ski areas

In winter, there are a number of local ski areas to choose from. Corno del Renon, San Martino in Sarentino or Val d’Ega offer amazing ski experiences. If you are not a ski fan, they are the perfect places for a romantic winter walk.
